Terms and conditions for laser hair removal packages

Applies to packages for the diode and alexandrite laser. A description of the treatment, indications and contraindications are on the laser hair removal page.

In force from 3 February 2026. Also available at the clinic reception.

General provisions

These terms and conditions set out the rules for purchasing and using laser hair removal packages at NL Clinic, ul. Obroki 68, 40-833 Katowice, NIP 6443075075, REGON 277804910. Purchasing a package means accepting these terms and conditions.

We carry out treatments after a qualifying consultation and an assessment of indications and contraindications. The clinic may refuse a treatment or propose a change of approach, if safety considerations call for it.

Laser hair removal is a method of permanent hair reduction. It is not a treatment that guarantees the irreversible removal of hair: over time, partial regeneration of follicles and regrowth is possible, which may require maintenance treatments.

Packages and discounts

Laser Package Discount on every treatment
Diode 6 treatments 40 per cent
Diode 8 treatments 50 per cent
Alexandrite 6 treatments 20 per cent
Alexandrite 8 treatments 30 per cent

The package applies to one area of the body, specified at purchase, for example underarms, bikini, calves or upper lip. The discount is calculated from the regular price on the day of purchase for that area, in line with the price list.

When you can buy a package

We first carry out the first treatment on the chosen area, and the package can be bought after it, paying for it in full. Purchase at another point in the course is not standardly available and requires the clinic's individual consent.

  • The package is personal, assigned to one patient.
  • You cannot transfer it to another body area or to another person, except in the health situation described below.
  • We do not split a package between several people and we do not combine it with other promotions, unless the clinic decides otherwise in writing.

Change of package for health reasons

If something arises during the series that changes the qualification for treatment in a given area, for example new skin lesions, a tattoo in the treatment field, treatment with photosensitising preparations, inflammation or infection, and the cosmetologist or doctor assesses this as a temporary or permanent contraindication, you can choose one of three solutions:

  • exchanging the package for another area,
  • using the unused equivalent value for another package or another service related to laser hair removal,
  • transferring the unused part of the package to another person.

The condition is assessment and confirmation of contraindications by clinic staff. We settle the value of treatments not carried out. Any price difference on exchange is paid on top or remains available to use at the clinic.

Cancellation for other reasons

If you cancel for reasons unrelated to health, we refund the funds after deducting the full amount for treatments already carried out, at regular prices, that is without the package discount.

Refund amount = amount paid for the package, minus the number of treatments carried out multiplied by the regular price of the treatment for that area.

How many treatments and what the result depends on

The number of treatments varies. The hair growth cycle often requires around eight treatments, but the result depends on individual factors. The clinic does not guarantee an identical result for every person.

  • hormonal balance and coexisting conditions,
  • genetic factors,
  • skin and hair type, that is the contrast between the hair and the skin,
  • following recommendations before and after the treatment,
  • sun exposure: on tanned skin the contrast decreases, the laser recognises the hair less effectively, and the risk of adverse effects increases,
  • incorrect preparation, for example not shaving,
  • not keeping to the recommended intervals between treatments.

Intervals are set by the cosmetologist. They are usually around four, six or eight weeks, depending on the area and the stage of the series. Treatments that are too frequent or too infrequent reduce effectiveness and extend the therapy.

Preparation and restrictions during the series

  • The treatment area should be shaved around two days before the treatment, for both lasers.
  • Hair that is too long means the laser acts mainly on the hair shaft, not the follicle. Effectiveness falls and discomfort increases.
  • For the entire duration of the series you must not pull hair out with the root: wax, tweezers, sugaring paste and a mechanical epilator are not allowed.
  • Shaving with a razor is allowed, in line with the recommendations.

After the series is complete, the clinic may recommend a maintenance treatment, usually around every six months, depending on the rate of regrowth.

Choice of laser

The cosmetologist selects the technology after the consultation, assessing safety and expected effectiveness.

  • Diode laserdark brown, brown and black hair, fair or slightly darker skin tone
  • Alexandrite laserlight brown and dark blond hair, fair skin tone

The cosmetologist has the right to refuse the treatment if they assess that the result would be unsatisfactory for a given hair type. This applies especially to light, blond, white, grey and vellus hair.

During the series the laser can be changed from diode to alexandrite, usually after a few visits, when the dark hairs have already been reduced and lighter ones remain, on which the diode laser works less effectively. The cosmetologist decides after assessing progress.

Safety, contact, final provisions

Please provide truthful information about your health, medications taken and sun exposure. The clinic may refuse the treatment or postpone the appointment if it identifies contraindications or an increased risk of adverse effects, for example with a fresh tan, active infection or lack of preparation.
