Who vaginal revitalisation is for
Age is not the deciding factor. Both younger patients after natural childbirth and women in the perimenopausal period, when the hormonal balance and quality of the mucosa change, come in for this treatment.
Reported indications:
- a feeling of looseness after natural childbirth or after perinatal injuries,
- reduced tone linked to changes in connective tissue,
- dryness and thinning of the mucosa, including during the perimenopausal period,
- discomfort or pain during intercourse, once other causes have been ruled out by a doctor,
- recurring intimate infections as an underlying issue, once the cause has been diagnosed.
We do not qualify patients for this treatment based on a description given over the phone alone. Complaints from this list may have other causes, and some of them need treatment rather than a tissue-tightening procedure.
What vaginal revitalisation involves
We work with fractional technology. Energy delivered to the vaginal wall stimulates the tissue to rebuild collagen fibres, which is meant to translate into better tone and hydration. The electrode has a tissue moisture control system, so the doctor can see during the treatment how the tissue is responding and adjust the parameters.
The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes. We use anaesthetic in the form of a cream. Most patients describe the sensation as warmth and pressure; pain is not typical, though we do not promise the treatment is completely painless.
Most often a series of two to three treatments is needed. The doctor decides the number and intervals after the first session, because only then is it clear how the tissue has responded. After the treatment we recommend one day of rest; the doctor provides the remaining recommendations, including a temporary break from intercourse.
Looseness after childbirth: where it comes from
The feeling of looseness comes from changes in the pelvic floor muscles and from stretching of the fascia. It does not depend on the number of births or on whether the birth went without complications: it can occur after a first and uncomplicated delivery.
Worth knowing before you decide: since part of the problem lies in the muscles, urogynaecological physiotherapy is often the basis of treatment, and the procedure is a complement to it, not a replacement. The doctor assesses which order makes sense in a given case.
Effects of vaginal revitalisation and the limits of the method
Directions of change reported by patients, which the method addresses: better hydration, greater tone and elasticity of the walls, tightening of a loosened vagina. The change builds up over weeks, because it depends on the rebuilding of fibres, and is not the same for every patient.
- The method does not treat pelvic organ prolapse or urge urinary incontinence. With urinary incontinence, its type is established first.
- It is not a treatment for recurring intimate infections. Some patients report them occurring less often, but the cause of the infections must be identified and treated separately.
- We do not promise a change in your sex life. The treatment works on the tissue, and sensation involves far more than the tone of the vaginal walls.
- The effect is not permanent. The tissues continue to age, and after some time a repeat treatment may be needed.
Contraindications to vaginal revitalisation
- pregnancy,
- menstruation,
- an active infection in the intimate area,
- cancer,
- bleeding of undetermined cause, until diagnosed.
Temporary complaints are possible after the treatment: a feeling of warmth, stinging, increased moisture or spotting during the first few days. Increasing pain, fever or discharge that has changed in character require contact with the clinic.
Vaginal revitalisation: price and bookings
The price depends on the therapy chosen by the doctor at the consultation, as the number of sessions and scope vary. The price of a single treatment is in the aesthetic gynaecology price list. The qualifying consultation costs 150 PLN, and the follow-up visit after the treatment is free of charge.

Travel for a treatment that is a series
We see patients at ul. Obroki 68 in Katowice, on the Witosa estate. There is a private car park for patients next to the building.
This treatment involves several visits. It starts with a consultation including an examination, because we do not qualify patients for revitalisation based on a description given over the phone alone. After that, a series of two to three treatments is most often needed, and the doctor decides their number and intervals only after the first session, once it is clear how the tissue has responded. After each treatment we recommend one day of rest, and once the therapy is finished there is also a free follow-up visit. Appointments cannot therefore be scheduled in advance, and a shorter journey makes it easier to fit them around work and home.
Patients travel to us from Chorzów, Ruda Śląska, Świętochłowice, Gliwice, Siemianowice Śląskie, Mysłowice, Mikołów, Sosnowiec and Dąbrowa Górnicza. The building stands close to the junctions of the A4 motorway and the Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa, some fifteen minutes from the city centre. Details of how to get here and a map are on the Contact.
